Potential demand requirement

The increasing demand for both regular checks and the progressive checks included in individual maintenance programs of particular airlines ensure the full-capacity utilization of the SEM facility, especially for servicing the Airbus A380 and the Boeing Dreamliner.

‎Contracts will ideally be with airlines whose capacity is already fully utilized. This would include large, multi-national airlines that have reached the limit of their capacity and also medium and large-sized carriers that do not have adequately-sized maintenance facilities and would rather invest in modern aircraft like the Airbus A380 and the Boeing Dreamliner than expanding maintenance facilities.
The demand for outsourced aircraft maintenance is not limited to airlines whose facilities are already at full capacity, rather, all airlines in general could contract services with SEM. This will be met with high demand, particularly for the Airbus A380 and the Boeing Dreamliner.

Aircraft manufacturers have also already inquired about the capacity for aircraft assembly and maintenance an interest driven by the increasing institutional regulation of independent checks according to the specific maintenance programs prescribed by aircraft manufacturers. The aircraft manufacturer Airbus in particular has to this point offered no maintenance options for the A380 and endorses our initiative. The situation is similar for the Boeing Dreamliner.

To date (2016) 900 units of the A350 and A380 and about 1.000 of the Boeing Dreamliner have been ordered. Of these more than 40% lack any maintenance services at their base airport.

This situation, which is favorable for SEM, is further enhanced by increasing security requirements and the rapid growth of air traffic.
